I always have a blast playing shows with my friend Dean Seltzer and the Redneck Mothers. Dean's new album, Lady Luck, will be released by Smith Entertainment in April 2009, and it features some great songs, including a smoking duet with Shelli Coe, the daughter of outlaw songwriter David Allan Coe, on the tune Please Come to Boston. One pretty TCU alumnus told me that every boy who went to college in Texas knows the words to Dean's hilarious (but definitely un-PC) song "Loving You (the Slut Whore Bitch song)" And from the way all the guys (and girls) sing along at shows, I have to believe her.
