A powerful force on the Texas music scene, the Wicked Brew Band has spent the past two years hitting the roadhouses and airwaves of the Lone Star and surrounding states like a band of Outlaws.
After recording their debut album First Shot in Waco in 2004, Wicked Brew began a rapid assault on Texas stages and radio stations. After a year on the road, the boys released their second album Two-Faced, and it promptly garnered a rave review from Texas Music Monthly. Meanwhile, their wild shows and rowdy songs are swiftly becoming the stuff of urban—and rural—legend. It’s obvious these guys are about to make some serious noise in the exploding Texas Music scene.
"Now, y'all know
I'm the Texas Music outlaw son,
but those Wicked Brew boys
are definitely the bad boys
on the Texas scene!"
—Kevin Fowler, in Waco 100 Radio interview |
The songs are propelled by the unmistakable vocals and spirited songwriting of bandleader Jared Lightfoot. Signature guitar hooks augment the tunes, and the rhythm section propels dancers onto the hardwood. However, when you hear Wicked Brew live, that’s when you realize that this band is hell-bent on doing things their own way! Each performance expresses the spirit of Texas independence in the tradition of the Outlaws. Check them out at www.WickedBrew.net

Wicked Brew is being compared to artists such as Cross Canadian Ragweed, Reckless Kelly, Bobby Pinson, and Shooter Jennings. While, the comparisons flatter the guys, they’re quick to point out that they’re no carbon copy band. A quick listen to one of their recordings will convince you too.
